St. Mary Laetitia School opened for operation in January of 2022. It is a secondary boarding school, with some day students, serving adolescent boys and girls who live in the rural Ugandan countryside. Located in an area called Ddgeya, west of the city of Masaka, the school is administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Masaka, Uganda.
St. Mary Laetitia School is a place of learning and a place of refuge for poor Ugandan children. St. Mary provides clean and sturdy dormitory and classroom buildings for the students. Those students have ample food prepared in the school’s kitchen and clean water from the school’s water well. Their education is provided by experienced and dedicated teachers. Their religious and sacramental needs are attended to by priests of the diocese of Masaka.
